World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of your items is an essential part of equipping your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and enhancements.
They also provide rewards and upgrades. They can be acquired through the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds one level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon gets upgraded, it gets a base damage bonus, as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. The weapon can also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that provide additional attributes or effects, and some have distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools, and they generally require the equipment to have an upgrade slot available and meet certain specifications. When a weapon or armor piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, it can be upgraded with a different one, but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered with the help of a Black-Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-end salvage tool on the item it self.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded by adding the Calibration Attribute which improves certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Based on the tier of the weapon the process can be repeated up to four times.
Once the weapon is at maximum upgrade, it can be reforged using a variety of different upgrade types to improve certain stats or add bonuses and effects. These upgrades can be used simultaneously and the effects depend on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the kind of damage weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
Generally, it is recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, then armour defense, then the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon prior to upgrading other gear. This helps maximize DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of certain pieces of armor weapons, trinkets, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, for example, additional damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, or in loot drops, or as rewards for quests.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. In most cases, a piece of armor will be upgraded to next level once an upgrade is applied. This can be done for most types of armor, though some items cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades provide a small increase to an item's base defense or strength. Some upgrade components, however, can result in significant increases in defense or strength. This is particularly the case when upgrading epic items.
In addition to increasing the base defense of an item, some upgrades also provide specific abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, for instance providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, for instance cutting down on the amount of damage sustained when wearing armor, or giving you a a chance to dodge attacks.
Upgrades to armor could require several attempts, depending on the type of armor. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense of 67-77 and so on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this it is necessary to visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations is home to an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. The truth is that certain armors provide significant enhancements to poison, curse, fire or magical damage reduction, making them very useful for certain types of builds. Additionally, there are ways to improve armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration, or the challenger trait to lower the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
When you put a potion into a stand for brewing, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new level of potion effects, and can be repeated for more tiers of potency.
The potions also have a custom color, which can be selected by the player using the /give. The color will affect the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the potions' particle effects.
The water bottle, common and thick potions and awkward potions now have a new texture when they are brewed. The potion of weakness was added to the healing potion in the Creative inventory. Addition of lingering potions, which can be made using splash potions or Dragon breath. Also added is a thick potion that has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Trinket
A trinket could be an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece of jewelry. It could be a ring or necklace. item upgrades could also be a small banner to mark the yard of a lateen boat. It could also refer to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a ship.
This bizarre trinket is believed to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more common. This trinket at its current level makes all types of mimics more common and gives each floor an Y% chance that it will contain an ebony copy. This trinket is priced at a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic of this enchanted scepter appears to be affecting the dungeon itself which makes it more likely to create grass and water. This trinket at the moment, will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It doesn't affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are produced to solve danger rooms.
The item, which appears like a newt's eyes, seems to affect your vision in a manner that goes beyond merely decreasing your field of view. At the present time, this trinket increases the overall health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterskins, and wells of health by X%. It also grants vision on enemies within Y tiles. This does not stack with the Heightened Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will affect the trinket that is random and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reorge the Trinket as many times as you wish, however it will always have an effect that is different from the one that it had when you forged it.
You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinkets by a tiny amount.
