World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The upgrade to an item is a kind of enchantment which increases the stats of certain weapons or armor. This includes tertiary statistics like Leech and Speed.
A special evolution item that allows Porygon to evolve into Porygon2. This item can be found at Pokestops or Gyms.
Universal upgrades are able to be used on any type of gear and offer less benefits than other components that are equipment type specific.
Leveling
Upgrades allow players to upgrade item s by increasing their levels. The increase in level also increases the item's "guaranteed" bonuses. Each level upgrade boosts a stat on the item by 3 and also adds an additional bonus based on the tier of the item. These extras can vary from a +1 bonus to +3 bonus, or random buffs or debuffs.
Each item can be upgraded a certain number of times. After the upgrade, the item is able to be re-transferred into a higher-tiered item that has the same or greater value.
This system is helpful for players who want to acquire equipment with a certain level of stats prior to acquiring a new item. The transfer system is user-friendly and lets players not waste upgrades materials.
Upgrade materials are gathered as a player clears content and can be used to enhance or replace an item. Each item requires a distinct kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones, while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. When an item is upgraded, these materials are changed to a different name. For example, Stone Fragments becomes Stones and Harmony Shards becomes Life Shards.
Upgrades to items are essential for enhancing the performance of a character However, it is essential to think about the cost of doing so prior to making any changes. Every time an item is upgraded, it will cost an amount of gold that could be better used on a new piece of gear. This is why it is advisable to only upgrade the most essential items in any given scenario.
This typically means that you first upgrade the weapon before the legs and chest before the helm. If the player can afford it upgrading trinkets must be done at this point to maximize their proc potential. Upgrades to a top-quality Throne of Thunder item may be worthwhile due to the more damage it could cause. Certain trinkets are not worth upgrading until they provide an upgrade that is important to the specific build. This is especially true for breakpoint gear used to increase stats like IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method that lets players alter the stats of a weapon, rings or armor based on its type. It can be used to replace existing bonuses or to add new ones. It can also change the power of the base item.
While rerolling can be an effective way to increase your power in the initial stages of the game it's not a necessary element of the game. Once you've reached your goal of upgrading to level 6, it's generally better to reroll and search for the most powerful upgrades or save the cash to buy the next set of items. This will ensure that you have a robust lineup at the time you reach the level 9 upgrade goal.
The rerolling system is very similar to the leveling up system. Reroll tokens are a way to remove any one Level Up option from your item and then exchange it for another. However unlike Level Up, reroll tokens do not reset the item's level. This means that, when you reroll an upgraded item, it will not be at the same level and not be able to benefit from the bonus.
Players can also make use of a special mechanic, Eliminate, to eliminate any level Up option they have on their equipment or weapons. This is helpful when you've had a bad gacha or you wish to reroll a five-star unit. To accomplish this, you'll have to create an account, or log in through social media.
Similarly, there is an Occultist in every town which can be visited to alter a weapon's or armor's Aspects, stats, or attributes. This is useful if have a five-star unit you'd like to improve, or if you have an elite four-star character you are struggling with.
Another way to reroll an item is to use the rerolling tokens that are obtained through the completion of quests. They can be bought from the Occultist for 300 gold, or you can find them in the holozon boxes which are dropped after the completion of certain dungeons. You can then reroll any weapon, armor, or ring by moving the icon with the lock to the desired slot on your unit's page.
Sets
A set is a group of items that are similar in a way. Sets are used every day. For example dozen eggs or a group of friends. Sets are helpful in organizing things and using operations like intersection, union, and difference to manage them efficiently. Sets are used in many different ways, ranging from organizing music on a playlist to classifying students based on their grades.
In Nioh, the game uses sets to provide special effects to players when they wear specific pieces of an Armor Set. These bonuses, also known as Set Bonuses, are similar to and sometimes better than Effects. While it is not explained in the game's universe why the armor sets must be worn together to create these additional effects, they can provide an interesting change of pace when playing the game. The armor sets with Set Bonuses can be found numerous locations around Hyrule like the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.
Every piece of equipment in the Set includes a set of Set Bonuses associated with it. The tooltip at the bottom of the item will inform you which Set Bonuses are offered. Set Bonuses are displayed in a box that has a red border.
Certain of these Set Bonuses are exclusive to a specific piece equipment. For instance, if you have the complete Phantom Armor set you will get +8 defense (compared to the normal +3 defense that comes with most gear). Some sets can only be obtained through completing specific tasks or by purchasing them at the Auction House.
It is possible to receive Set Bonuses for multiple items of equipment simultaneously. For instance, if you have the complete Kestra's Descent set and the appropriate parts of the Twinblade of Shadow you will be eligible for the + version the bonus set when you meet it.
Set Bonuses remain the same, regardless of the equipment to which they are connected is upgraded. If an item is exemplared too low, then the set bonus won't be effective.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are special effects which can be found on an item set, and provide a bonus to the player in battle. They give a certain amount of a specific type of stat, like weapon damage, defenses, or resistances. However, they don't stack; only one will be active at any one time. The amount of an attribute is determined by the number of pieces included in the set. For instance, you can have four weapons and three chests however only one of them will be beneficial.
In general, they increase the primary stat of a piece, however some also boost secondary ones also. Defence bonuses boost three defensive positions and two types of defense. For example the five-piece Hundings Rage set will give you a total of 400 defenses in your equipment. This is a significant increase in your gear, particularly as a melee character.
This is an excellent feature and one of the most well-known in the game. At present, only a handful of gear sets come with set bonuses, and they are only available in the Test Realm, but expect this number to increase once the update goes live. For instance, the popular 7 school specific Dragoon's gear will get its bonus added to it when the update hits Live.
Set bonuses do not stack within a set, but they can stack across sets. This is ideal for players that want to use the most effective combination of sets. However, it does require some planning. As set bonuses only affect the shell of an equipment (not the armoring, mod or the enhancement) It is important to be careful with your placements.

It is important to know that the amount of a set's bonus will not change even if your exemplar level is more than three levels lower than the minimum allowed for an enhancement. This rule is not applicable to purple (Very rare) Sets PvP Sets, PvP Sets or Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses will function regardless of exemplar level.
