Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are upgrade elements that can be inserted into armor, weapons and trinkets to provide an additional benefit. They usually come at an increased cost and require that the item be at an appropriate level.
Upgrades are rarely worthwhile for items with high requirements. This is especially applicable to items that don't have with a lot of variation like Eth titans.
Glyphs
Once you reach level 50, Blizzard’s action-RPG shifts from its streamlined campaign to the endgame. This is when things really begin to change, with players being pushed into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons, and new grinds to ensure that their character's building is as robust as it can be.
Glyphs play a crucial role in this progression. A higher upgrade level for a Glyph increases its stat attributes and radius of effect on the Paragon Board. There are a handful of methods to obtain these upgrades, however most players will rely on the primary method: raiding Faction Crypts.
item upgrades allows you to add glyphs to your text by choosing them from the menu that is located on the left of the screen. The Glyphs panel shows glyphs based on the font that your cursor is currently located. You can alter the font or typestyle, and narrow down the list to include only punctuation symbols using the option under the entire Font. By moving your pointer over any glyph, you'll be able to find its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tool tip.
Once you've inserted several glyphs, the Glyphs panel will keep track of the last 35 distinct ones you used and display them under the category of Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you need to expand the panel to see all 35). You can also clear this list by right-clicking or Control-clicking on a symbol in the list and selecting Remove From Recent Glyphs.
The Glyphs Panel also allows you to design a custom set of glyphs. This can be useful if you often require typing certain text types. This will save you the time of manually inserting each glyph every time you require it.
A custom glyph set can contain a maximum of 31 glyphs comprising both the base name and its suffix. The glyphs used in the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z) as well as lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9) and underscore (_). The suffix can include ligatures or contextual alternatives. These are special variants that combine two or more letters into one glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the principal mechanic that offers benefits on items, like extra stats. These upgrades are available in three distinct kinds: rerolling, recycling and leveling up. Each kind of upgrade comes with its own bonus for the item.
Reroll Tokens are used to alter an item's base stats and upgrade number. They can also be used to reroll substats for rings. This is useful when an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is less than the player would like or if the item's current substats are not ideal.
Rerolling costs 1 token, and resets all upgrades to an item but will leave the set, rarity and level unaltered. When an item is upgraded, it increases its rank and with each tier, the primary stat is increased by +3, while a random extra stat is added to it. The level of an item is increased by 1 when you raise an item to its highest possible level.
The Blueprint Desk is a tool that lets players purchase new appliances, ingredients and decorations for their restaurants. Blueprints are given at the start of each Preparation Phase and appear as envelopes which can be opened by pressing the Grab. Each blueprint comes with its own icon, and each category of upgradeable item has an icon that is distinct from the others:
The choice of a franchise card through the Blueprint Desk will allow you to obtain certain appliances or ingredients that are needed in certain recipes. Certain appliances and inputs are staples, which means that they won't be available in the Shop or on rerolls, while others will have a greater likelihood of appearing if an appropriate franchise card is chosen at the Blueprint Desk. This is called the Staple Pool, and the items contained in it will remain in that pool for the rest of the run. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.

Recycled Items
The magic happens with the third "R," recycling. When you recycle a product that is made from recycled materials, you are not only helping the environment but also giving the item new life. Most recycled products are sent back to the manufacturer from which they came to be remade as an entirely new item. This is what we call "closing the loop of recycling."
If someone places something in their curbside recycling bin it is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorting. Then, it gets offered to manufacturers who can re-make the item. Items that are typically remade into new products include:
This reduces the necessity to harvest, cultivate or extract raw materials to create something else. This reduces the amount of damage caused to the natural world as fewer trees are trimmed down, rivers diverted and wild animals are displaced. It also reduces the amount of pollution caused by the dumped raw materials into our water, soil and the air.
Recycled products help keep local businesses and jobs going particularly for those who specialize in recycling materials. The demand for recycled items encourages businesses to participate in this eco-friendly effort.
Another reason to buy recycled items is that they require less energy to make new items using recycled materials as compared to creating them from raw materials. The manufacturing process for the new aluminum container requires 95% more power than the process of making a can made of recycled materials. This is why every bit counts.
Leveling
Most units can be upgraded, which gives them extra XP every time they attack or are attacked. This XP can be used to increase the primary stat of the unit, or unlock other improvements on the unit's development tree. Weapons are a great example of this, as they can be upgraded by increasing their damage and range.
Most leveling systems require a specific amount of levels to be completed however this can vary from game to game. Leveling is achieved by using coins or resources. Most systems use both, though some use one.
The issue of leveling can be a challenge in many games because it makes certain units too powerful, while other units can't compete with them. Limiting the amount of leveling that a player is allowed to perform will force them into deciding what they'd like to upgrade, and the reason for it.
